Kampen Kaffe & Bar

Kampen Kaffe & Bar, nestled in the charming Thorbjørn Egners Plass at Kampen in Oslo, is a cherished local spot. The place has been a part of the neighbourhood for many years. It was known as Javelin until 2019, when it joined the Fossekallen family, alongside FUGLEN and Byens Tak.

Kampen Kaffe & Bar starts the day by offering its neighbours Fuglen coffee and later transforms into a cosy wine bar. If you're into jazz, this joint hosts a bunch of nice jazz events in collaboration with Kampen Kirke throughout the year.

Together with Postpost Studio, we gave Kampen Kaffe & Bar a subtle brand uplift last year, providing it with a new identity and webpage. But the essence of the place remains unchanged: snug corners, second-hand furniture, and quality coffee served in everyday porcelain.

This is a place where everyone feels welcome. Whether relishing time with friends or enjoying a cappuccino outside on Thorbjørn Egners Plass, Kampen Kaffe & Bar stands as a warm neighbourhood gem on one of Oslo's nicest squares, making it a delightful spot for all.
